Got red rototiller working again today half way through the day. Spent the morning using my hoss wheel hoe to prep ground for planting tomatoes for lack of a roto tiller. Got back to the house, found the new forward lever. Took it back out. Got it put on with a little fidgeting with ratchets and a couple of different squeezers (for you mechanically inclined folks I used a nice ratchet set, couldn't find a proper wrench to hold the other side, used a adjustable handle wrench instead, and a pair of pliers to bend the spring back when it pulled out and got straightened). Then I rototilled till seven. It's practicable impossible to use up a whole tank in one go unless starting early in the morning. Now rain expected next two days of weekend. Got the tomatoes and the corn tilled around but need to hoe closer in. Also I need to plant the last few tomatoes. Also need to hoe around baby squash. Found baby lofthouse parsnips today.
