I recently started a podcast, where I interview people involved in the freelance plant breeding world in one way or another. I've so far talked with Nathan Kleinman of the Experimental Farm Network, Curzio Caravati of the Kenosha Potato Project, and Tom Wagner of Tater Mater Seeds. More episodes are planned, some with names that you will recognize from HG. You can find the episodes at the link or through iTunes or Google Play if you prefer. www.cultivariable.com/category/podcast/

Interesting, although I wonder why Joseph Lofthouse isn't in your mix.

Well, at last count, the list of people that I would like to have on was in the 80s and I've done 3, so I have my work cut out. Joseph is on the list and probably would have been among the first I asked, except that he just did a great podcast elsewhere.

thanks bill for the podcast on the experimental farm network! I think I'll inquire more about it. Since I'll be in an apartment for a year or two it might be advantageous to take advantage of collaborative plant breeding on a larger scale.

That's pretty unlikely. What software are you using?

That's pretty unlikely. What software are you using? billw, I'm using Firefox. Now I'm trying to remember what happened, exactly. I went to your site... I clicked on something... but not the podcast, because I keep my sound off... I got the page that said I had computer "problems" and needed to contact "them"... I could not close it down. I shut down the page using control-alt-delete and then ran a scan. It seems to be okay.

There is a message in a strip along the top of the window:
CURRENTLY HAVING SOME WEBSITE AND EMAIL PROBLEMS. CLICK HERE FOR FULL STATUS
Is that what you clicked on?

That's just the normal status page and shouldn't cause you any trouble. The current web site problems are a result of moving the site to new hardware. Out of an abundance of caution, I ran a malware checker on site and came up with nothing. If anyone else gets a warning, please let me know.
