I was sowing tps from a cross in 2014(♀ andean sunrise (possible Tetraploid form) X ♂ desiré) . From this seedling I keeped 2 plants who gave me few seeds in 2016. Last year, I sowing their, and this year I have planted all the small tuber from 2018 The Great diversity of plants, size, leafs shape, leafs colors, plants shape, but too tubers color, shape, flesh color, tast and textur is amazing. Next year I try to caracterise each one, but theire are near 49 plants.

Which ones do you plan to grow out? I am always interested in hearing what criteria people use to evaluate potatoes from true seed to determine which to keep or drop.

Hi Nathanp Thank you for your question ! It's mine too ;D First the rusticity of the plants, no irrigation needed, few sensitivity to late blight. Secondly, the tast, the textur and flesh color (yellow are preferred by french people) Thirdly, hte homogeneity of the size of the tubers
But honestly I think it's will be a a compromise between the second and third criterias
