First male flower of my hybrid justynka x green. The male flower have 6 petals in stead of 5. The pistil is less long than a normal pistil

Finaly the genes of maxima looks likes dominants, i have not see a gene of pepo but the plant are more little and less vigorous than the normal plants of maxima. I can maybe have a result with a f2.One plant have been cut by a slug.

I have autodecondate my maxima justynka f1 x green, i would see if i can found again thet phenotype with stranger leafs and green fruits.

No plant located outside has don't given fruits or so late that the fruit has not take the time to get fat. The plants was more little than the norm l maximas. The alone plant to have given one fruit was in greenhouse.I have autofecondated this fruit for see if i can found again the stranger gene in the f2.

i cannot say as i have so little knowledge of squash/pumpkin plants other than growing a few types and enjoying eating them. i hope someone will have an answer.  |

hard to keep plants in pots moist enough during hot weather. i hope they will give you some fruits.

It well two moschatas .I think i have lost the strangers plants that i have found at the begining at this post.
I think it thr moment for try to put a pollen of maxima!
When i have selected my f2 i have put the seeds on the compost and i have take the better plants.It may stay a few seeds of moschata.
