that light color was similar to the ones i opened up yesterday. not very good texture and not very good tasting. since i had six large squash like that and three smaller ones it was a shame that all but one of them were not what i wanted and they all went out to the weed pile.

would you continue to grow those? i generally want the more orange colored and also firmer and drier squash like a buttercup or kabocha. to me those look more like crosses with the green seeded types or summer squash. i'm more into winter squash and i want longer storage life if possible.

I think that i will sow some seeds by curiosity but i don't expept much. If he was autofecondated some f2 can be very cool but i'm not sure of the parent.
I prefer the most orange squash. I think that i will have more luck with my seeds of baby violina x ( violina x tetsukabuto). Or Baby violina = ((violina x waltham)f2)

Firsts seeds in germination! Unfortunately some seeds are some difficulties to germinated. Its normal that some plants give a lot of secondary roots and that the main root dryed?

Squashs are in fullground Varietys: small violina x (violina x tetsukabuto) and violina x tetsukabuto I have planted a blue of hungary next to and i will planted later next to: unknow x (blue of hungary x (blue of hungary x tetsukabuto)) Second project: i have planted together Blue of hungary x ( blue of hungary x tetsukabuto) one plant and two plants of unknow x (blue of hungary x (blue of hungary x tetsukabuto)) around. ((Violina x waltham) f2) x (violina x tetsukabuto) has a very low vigor but if isn' eat by slugs he can growed. Do you think that i can crossed blue of hungary with (Violina x waltham) f2) x (violina x tetsukabuto) or small violina x (violina x tetsukabuto)? I want created my own interspecific cross. If a so cross can arrived it will be very crazy but its not my main objective. My main objective now is to assembly the nutty taste of violino rugosa and the sugar rate of futsu kurokawa , the low vegetative t° of green delicious and the earliness of waltham in one variety.
