Walker has been abandoned for just the cane. Actually got out the vacuum cleaner to make the living room a bit more suitable to human habitation again. Probably be mopping the kitchen floor next!

That is great Martin! From the walker to the cane sounds like a major improvement.
Thanks for the update.

Goooood!! She'll be progressing faster now... she must feel much better now. I remember Vivianne was so friggin' tired and frustrated to be immobilized, she passed the vacuum cleaner almost everyday while in her wheelchair it was , frankly, quite funny to watch her manoeuvre arounf the tight corners Her leg had to be up on a support, that does limit mobility in small places...

Martin,
How about an update? Has the cane been abandoned yet?

Cane looks to be a permanent thing. Tried driving a week ago to see if the right leg had enough response time. That was the first part that was affected and the last to return. Worked OK. I just told her to leave lots of room ahead of her. Only allowed to work 2 hours per day so far. Hoping to work up to 4 hours next week.

Will keep both of you in our thoughts and prayers, and hope that Mrs. Paquebot continues to recover rapidly. Cheers, Val
