I loved the blue russian flower which was a streaked dark lilac colour flower when I grew it and I believe it was Carlton that had lovely pink flowers produced in abundance. I remember reading in Deppe's infamous book (How to breed your own vegetable varieties) about someone who had produced a heavily flowering type. If I weren't so lazy right now, I'd look up the reference for you.

Tom Wagner's taters are flowering to the point you would think the guy is a florist... and I think you know where to get them

I modified a bit and placed the names above each picture, they're mostly 'wild' potatoes

Nice pictures Frank and Telsing. A few of my own: Lost crops of the Incas (from left to right - Quinoa, Potato Yellow Finn, Ulluco#1, Potato Shetland Blue Eye; Achocha Fat Baby, Amaranth, Potato Russepotet, Oca, Potato Blå Congo, Ulluco#2, Mashua) www.hagepraten.no/gallery/pic.php?mode=large&pic_id=1358A Potato bouquet for you all (well, the ladies anyway ) www.hagepraten.no/gallery/pic.php?mode=large&pic_id=1355I forgot various potatoes that didn’t get eaten in my cellar and discovered these in September. The long sprouts are also very colourful despite having grown in the dark (the butterfly is a Red Admiral): www.hagepraten.no/gallery/pic.php?mode=large&pic_id=1356The last two pictures show various species potatoes (not in my garden) including Solanum acaule – I was told that the fruits of this one smells like Strawberries, but don’t let your senses fool you into eating one… www.hagepraten.no/gallery/pic.php?mode=large&pic_id=1357www.hagepraten.no/gallery/pic.php?mode=large&pic_id=1359By the way, could some one teach me how to insert images into the text like the others have done. When I use img it just ends up blank...

No wonder there are ornamental 'potato' vines. The first two pictures didn't upload Stephen and I'm anxious to receive the bouquet.
