I believe I have seeds from the original fruit she purchased in Virginia. I'll check today. I don't think the original one was that light in color.

FP,
No! Don't tell me that. You mean Michel has something unique? Still, if you have some seeds to spare, I'll try them out. Let me know if you find them and I'll PM you my address.
Thanks!

Pugs - PM me your addy. I may have a little of that original seed around too. Michel's looked close to the fruit I saved from, I think. Sorry I've been largely absent recently... combo of house purchase and computer issues. I will mail you seeds, though. I'm pretty sure I have more that I sent to FP.

Pugs, send Lav your addy. I misplaced the seeds. I know I have them somewhere. I remember seeing them. Probably in an envelope buried in my desk. I'll give another look today.

What a neat colour variation of Musqee de Provence. I grew a huge patch of them last year and I was just commenting earlier today on how mine have taken until now to fully ripen into the ocher of the squash in the first link. They were mostly green until this month, and they're still storing in perfect condition. I'd be interested in a few seeds if I hadn't already overextended myself with new squash this year!

I also got less perfectly ochre ones Owen, but they were few... they grew in incredibly rich soil, maybe it helped

Owen - I'll be saving lots of seed, and hand pollinating, in the hopes of getting ones like it or close to it. If I do, I'll send some seed your way. Remind about the seed, when I post results.

Thanks a lot for the offer, maybe I'll have some room in next year's garden! If I do I'll be in touch by then.
