So I planted some Minnesota Midget melons about 2 weeks ago indoors. Now they are almost 2 inches tall and just starting to get their second set of leaves. But I was recently reading up on melons in general and some sites say that you shouldn't plant melons any earlier than late April. Did I start my melons too early? Will this stunt their growth when I take them outside as soon as the weather warms up (most likely in May). I took pics, but can't figure out how to post them.

Yep, way way too early LIke almost 1.5 months for me, surely at least one month where you live. But I think you plan to grow them in a container so you should be OK, simply lots of moving around, y'a know, inside and out the house kind of thing... Just make sure the container is big, with lots of peat moss and lots of real good shit...some perlite would help too. You.ll eat melons when we are just looking at the baby plants. Nothing wrong about it...
