Hey guys,
I just wanted to get your opinion of San Marazono tomato which a lot of folks have asked for this year at market. If you have a good strain you can trae me some seed of, let me know because I would like to get my hands on about 30-60 seeds to play with for next year.
Also I'm looking for a good Orange roma type, i've got a good yellow type, but would love to have a good Orange to go with it, the red types. Any Suggestions. Want to trade some seeds?

I grew it once. It wasn't productive for me, and seemed semi-determinate. Fizzled out after one good setting...
Tomato Growers Supply lists San Marzano Redorta in addition, and a hybrid Super Marzano. Both are said to be larger and earlier. The hybrid claims 'large yields.'
Martino's Roma sounds like a better market tomato to me, but they probably wouldn't be fooled...

San Marzano is semi-determinate for me. I did grow the Striped Roman this yr. They were very productive with huge fruits a few seeds.
Alan, did you get seeds for Red Bullet from the Long Island Seed Project? Tasted just like a San Marzano, just smaller. Very productive. Deep red color. PapaVic posted pics of it on Tomatoland.
