I need to vent a bit. I have never seen such a blight problem. Never. I will be loosing a lot of taters to it, and probably tomatoes too. I does put a strong emphasis on the need to breed more and more.
But in the mean time, it is soooo frustrating to see the damage...

I'm sorry to hear that, Michel. What potatoes are you losing? Are any seeming to be blight resistant? And are you tearing out plants right now, or what?

I am losing some heirlooms, like ANGELINA MAHONEY'S BLUE, RED WARBA, and a few others, tomorrow I am going for total inspection, this is a moving target one must admit. I'll have a harvest but not as good as expected, I hope it did not get to the tubers.
Some of Tom's are touched, but many are fearing well it seems, or so it was yesterday.... The tolucas and sarpo mira are doing incredibly well, they are also impervious to the Colorado potato beetle up to now...
It is now a daily watch thing...
