People at work and others oline seem to really think the Jellybean hybrid is great. I know our local grocery stores sell a bunch but I don't see what the big deal is. There are tons of small non-spherical red toms right??? Must be the name.

Probably has something to do with people associating it with being the only good supermarket tomato in the winter, they figure if it is that good in the winter it must be terrific in the summer. I've never grown it myself, however I did by a basket of them last year to save F2 seed from for a future growout, maybe next year or '09, time will tell.
Just my guess.
