Just yesterday I received my accession of 11 northern maize varieties from the USDA-ARS (NCRPIS) in order to proceed with the next step of Project G-1. At the end of the project, if all goes as planned, the protein content of corn varieties will have been studied, and several new varieties will have been bred in the process.
Some of the samples will be redirected to grower participants, to grow it out. Then the information collected during the project will be gathered as a research report, and filed with the USDA. This step should occur in the fall of 2009, near the end of the project.

I've located (and sent seeds to) one participant; still looking for others. Let me know if you are interested.

I'm not looking to grow corn here atleast this year. I'll bet someone on the site is interested though.
