This was pointed out on the Sustainable Country forum, text from a letter alerting the FDA of transference of a proposed new micro fungal like organism more concentrated in Round Up Ready GMO's like soy and corn that is being found in bovine and pig placenta and indicated as a possible catalyst to rising abortion rates . Read on the implications to human health as well: farmandranchfreedom.org/gmo-miscarriages

Just another reason why GMO plants should be halted and long term studies held to insure their safety as this memorandum clearly shows that someone has clearly dropped the Ball. I wonder if the damaged caused at level one could be transfered to a level 2 contamination to people? George W.

I have sent this to one of the worlds top theriogenologists (repro vets) for his opinion and he said he would look into it for me.
The text certainly suggests to me there may be cause for concern for peoples welfare.

It is going to take direct link provable cases, not "lab research suggestions" to get any action at all against any of the GMO's before anything will be done about it. Big business will do what ever they have to, pay off whomever they can, and subvert the law until they get shut down, in order to protect the bottom line, regardless of how serious the matter is. The tobacco industry, even today, rejects the premise that tobacco causes any health problems, or that it is addictive. Think any of the seed or chemical companies that "invent" new species and chemicals to go with them are going to be any better = they are far bigger and have much more money to spend in their defense than the tobacco industry did.

It takes intelligence and courage to discard something in which you have a large investment, financial or otherwise, even when it turns out to be a bad idea. Greed and self-interest tend to be more prevalent in big business, tobacco being only one egregious example. Big oil is another. The mind-set seems to be "it doesn't matter if we foul this nest, we'll make so much money we can buy a clean one". I wonder how many people making money off GMO's eat much of their products. I wonder how many are like big drug dealers who don't use their merchandise.

In the UK, the cafeteria in store that handles GMO grow outs advertises that there are no GMO's served there

It may seem irrational but there are so many things like this making me more and more anxious, I feel a tremendous preasure to be as self sufficient as possible .
