One plant in my patch of Supai Red parch corn gave one ear of entirely white kernals. I'm sure I planted no white seed there. I'll plant these apart next year.

i think it is normal for red varieties trow sometime totally withe cobs, if you have supai seeds for trade/excange i will gladly buy/excange for some of it

I'm pretty sure that Supai is also a variety that is prone to color changes due to transposons ( jumping genes) so that might be part of what you are seeing. Maybe.

I just found it striking that only one plant produced anything other than straight red, and that one produced only a pure white cob of good size and well-filled.

If that white turns out to be stable, I'll call it Supai Red Ghost. Just naming my chickens before they're hatched.
