I've got early drought resistant corn, but it's mostly flint, with some dent from a mass cross of native american varieties. I kept separate those that were dry in 85 days. Also very early pop and sweet.
I will like to try the piennolo d'ischia as I'm trialing many winter storage types with the alc gene.
I have many things for your projects, and as I'm in a very similar climate. I think you might be interested ... lets talk by pm.

cortona and ilex I would be interested in trading with both of you for drought-resistant plant seeds. I am just starting to work on landraces and am collecting seeds for dent corn, beans, cowpeas, squash, pumpkin, okra, lettuce, and kale. I have many heirloom seeds I've saved and some I've sourced available for trade.
