Just a little thread to show off my growing. I will also include grow reports for seeds people have sent me and collaboration projects. The only one I won't include here is sweet potato breeding since I started the other thread. This year I have started high carotene corn, oca, stevia, and ahipa all from seeds (these except corn aren't really suited to my really dry climate). I have direct seeded 12 varieties of tomatoes mixed around to create a landrace. All for now. Will continue updating

Took this picture around 2 months ago. A friend gave it to me. Now I have managed to fill it up with a couple of Christmas trees and coffee grounds. It finally cooled down, and I saw red wigglers, so I stuffed 2 of my 15 gallon worm composted in here. This will probably be enough to top the garden, and fill up a bunch of pots with it.

Just an update for Trixtrax. Sowed all four line, random, magic dragon, fiesta gold, and peruvian potato on 2/9/14. 20 seeds of each, 4 per cell. Selected for vigorosity in each line. Ended with with 1 magic dragon, 1 fiesta gold, 2 peruvian, and 2 random. Snails ate 3 random ones completely which I would of planted, so I was force to select for snail resistance, 2 damaged were saved. Currently the magic dragon seedling is the fastest growing, will try to get pictures later. I also did a second sowing of the magic dragon and random.

The fiesta one and one random were actually tomatillo. I used compost in the soil mix which was probaly where they came from. The magic dragon got eaten.Mostly randoms are left. Largest right now is Peruvian which is in 15 gallon pot.

Planted Amish Bottle Onion seeds in pots. The heat will probaly do a bit of selection and kill some off. Only potatoes that survived were Peruvian ones. Though those will be killed off soon due to diseases. Hopefully some mini potatoes develop.

The birds finally allowed me a sizable harvest of gogi berries. Probably due to the sacrificial crop from the mini chili tree.
