Recently, I've noticed that threads are no longer rising to the top of the forums when there is a new reply. Is this something in my browser, or is everyone experiencing this? If uncorrected, I'll soon have to scroll to the next page looking for recent replies.... which would be annoying to say the least. Hope this isn't a sign of greater problems. Agreed, annoying. A simple fix in the forum software one would assume.

I haven't been able to post pictures from Flickr using the photo insert tab either. Looking at the code it's all there, then it just disappears, poof.

This is only a test to see if my picture posts. Shot taken after 7pm Sunday of the deer pestering the rabbit by the bird feeders. In the photo, the rabbit has already turned around or they'd be nose-to-nose, heheh. Looks like it's working with my Picasa account. I hope you get it to work, flowerweaver. Look forward to seeing your pictures.

Awesome photo @stratcat! Does anyone on this forum use a Flickr account to post photos?

Thanks. Have you tried putting the code in between the image brackets and messing around with it? Maybe you can get that to work. The other image bracket is like this one without the forward slash. It will be on the left of >[/img] There's a deer out the window right now at 7.49p! Four deer out the same window thirteen months ago. Inserted code between those image brackets.

Cute, indeed, so long as they can't get into the garden. The farm neighbors had an orphaned fawn (road-kill mama), Flo the doe, that would come over to be petted whenever she saw my truck; only cost a packet of stale cookies to pet the deer, very cost-effective.
What with the various deer-tick-borne diseases found in California, perhaps I oughtn't have been so familiar with Flo, but I just don't see the point of being so fearful of my environment; I'm already twice as old as the life-expectancy was a very few generations ago; I expect to top thrice; only the good die young. I've negotiated an extended contract.

I've read the story of someone who petted a fox and that fox keeps the territory (= this man garden) free from other foxes, and the petted fox didnt eat the chicken. Maybe there something to test with deers ? To be a little more on topic, maybe you failed to include flickr pictures because you were pasting URL from the pic page, not the pic itself. You have to get the picture URL with a right click and select "open image in new window" or "copy image url" or something similar.
