I'm with you Flower! Anything that anyone sent me has had 80% germination or better. The only thing I have been disappointed in was someone who sent me Spaghetti squash that turned out to be zukes. AND very bitter zuke at that. Spitters. Copse, I have had very poor seed from Baker Creek, Territorial, and several others. I have had great seed from Seeds of Italy-Grow Italian, Solstice Seed and Wild Garden Seeds. I have had mixed up seed from Johnny's and a few folks on this site (I understand mixed). But there really is no excuse for seeds that won't germ in ideal conditions. That's just pure laziness on the part of the seller.

I guess we're probably luckier in NZ, because we're smaller and there are fewer seed companies. I imagine word would get around if the seeds were unreliable.
