Quite pleased with this as an edible landscape, perennial greens plant. Thanks to Stephen for the introduction! My plants are 4 years old and I've been selling their seed grown babies. Here, they mostly prefer shade (though I wonder if this is a function of heat + moisture) but this year had low heat units and here is a sun grown seedling: Late fall plant climbing up an apple tree:

started a few from seed i got from trixtrax...they all crashed mid summer. not sure why. some were in pots, some in garden beds. will continue to try...

I had that happen with some in my first planting or should I say 70% of my first planting. All in sunnier areas. Now I grow out just plants from the survivors for sale. Survivors were mostly at the base of fruit trees.
