The only time I've ever worried about gnats was the time I had an algal bloom in my water butt, followed by a plague of the things; the larvae fed on the algae. An old dustbin lid sorted that, but fungal gnats would probably be harder.

I use the BT Israeli. You can buy it from Gardens Alive. I used to have bad fungus gnats in my house. Last year I never used the granules once. Otherwise I do not recommend GA.

Drosera or a little wind (they don't fly very well).
