I just wanted to take a moment to suggest this early season (62 days) bi-color sweet corn to any of you out there who grow for market and need to beat the competition to market. Unfortunately to my knowledge you can't find organic seed out there yet and I believe Rupp is the only company carrying the seed, however for a first early corn it is terrific and has great cool soil emergence.
For anyone interested I am working on segregating and doing some backcrosses to come up with a nice open pollinated alternative to Seneca Arrowhead, in a few years time we should have something realatively early and nice to share with the world.

Keep us in mind when you get there, Alan. We sure would like to try it out here in our garden.

I'll gladly keep you updated and send you seed to trial as I get closer.
