It's kindof shaping up to be a wild weather day out there today. What with 26 tornadoes touching down in tornado Alley yesterday, its supposed to be just as bad, if not a little worse today. So everyone stay safe...
I close tonight at work...I just hope its not storming when I leave work tonight...IF it is, I'll be going the long way home, why...Because its mostly flat, and the roads are roads that are well kept...The other way is a narrow winedy road up a gianormous hill...which continues out onto more narrow roads...Not real confortable driving it in torential rains.

Oh my goodness...I imagine that was a LONG trip. When Alan and I were in school our DC trip didn't happen till we were in the fifth grade. I didn't go because I am terrified of heights and we were going to have to fly....

Aside from gardening, what is everyone doing today?
Me...I'm gonna go get my hair cut...Because it is driving me INSANE. Maybe go buy me a new outfit since I haven't done that for myself in a long time. And I have to run by my work and check my schedule to see what time I work tomorrow, I should have wrote it down, but after the last two days of HELL, I was determined to get the hell outa there. The last couple of days our department did right at 60,000 dollars in business both days. Saturday was a lot busier than I thought it would be, what with the kick off of the Kentucky Derby Festival, Thunder Over Louisville, being that night. Anyhoo...Just wondered what y'all were doing today...

As I stated in the announcement, I'll do my best to help you all out. I'll address a few that I've seen as I've meandered through the boards right now. 1.) Replying to messages. There is a quick reply at the bottom of the thread, however, once you've opened the thread and would like to reply and have a normal reply screen, there is a reply button that appears in the blue header at the top of the first post on each page. You can also quote certain posts by clicking the quote button that appears on the post of the person that you'd like to quote. 2.) How do I post pictures?I personally prefer using an image host such as Photobucket, you can set up a free account upload your pictures to Photobucket and actually resize the pitures as you upload them by the options on the upload screen, and then post the image tag (which appears as "[ img ]" image url "[ / img ]" minus the quotation marks and spaces) on our forums. Photobucket has options under each uploaded picture with different ways to post them, either with an URL which will just be a link that links back to that picture, or with the img tag it will actually post the picture in the thread. There are also ways to post a lot of photos at once. The plus side of using an image host is that it saves our bandwidth as well... If y'all have questions, post them in here, and I'll try to answer them all in the evenings.

We have got to replant cabbage. But Alan gave me the day off today, we decided it was going to be to cold for the little seedlings to be outside for hours at a time. It would shock them too much. So the sale has been rescheduled, and Alan said he won't need my help till we have to unload sawdust tonight. I'll tell you what though, I slept the best I have slept since I went back to work last night.
I think its one of those things where I ware myself out so much that I can't sleep. I certainly can't sleep in anymore. I haven't slept past 8:00 am since I went back to work. lol!

LOL...I'm around. More lurking than anything else at the moment. I've been crazy busy with work. And trying to help Alan as much as I can. What does he need to be straightened out about?? LOL! Do I need to poke him with a stick?? LOL! Anyhoo. I have to go get ready for work. Hopefully I am not too tired when I get off tonight, I have a few things that I still need to finish up for his plant sale this weekend. And depending on the weather, I may be running the sale by myself, so it'll be another morning up before the sun.lol!

Hey gang...Just wanted to say sorry that I haven't been around much lately. I just started a new job and have been averaging about 37 hours a week. Right now I'm working on my horticulture certification for that job. Anyway, just thought I'd let y'all know where I've been.
I better go help my Dad with supper. Today is Mom's birthday so this'll prolly be the last time I'm on tonight.
Hugs to All.

I personally prefer a happy, healthy medium of both. In fact I LOVE a dark green salad with a nice medium well steak sliced up on top. Sometimes my body craves the iron that comes from red meat. But then I also go through days where I don't eat any meat at all.

Good fats, and some carbs or your electrolytes will get all messed up. If your electrolytes get messed up so does your heart...

Kim says: I like The Eagles, Lynyrd Skynyrd (for a little bit...No comments from the peanut gallery...*Cough* Cough* Alan Reed), bahahahahahahah, Freebird the mantra of the moron! Just Kidding, of course. Love ya lots! Actually I'm burnt out on Freebird and Sweet Home Alabama...Thanks in large part to my little sister. I prefer some of the more obscure skynyrd hits.
