I got my fall '07 catalog for forest farm - Ornamental and Useful Plants from Around the World. It contains LOTS (504 pages) of trees, shrubs, perrenials, and some annuals. The common name index alone is 7 pages long, starting with Abelia and ending with Zenobia. It's easy to find almost anything you are looking for, sometimes in varieties you probably never heard of. The prices are reasonable (bamboo as low as $29.00!) Anyway, it's a good source for hard-to-find ornamentals. www.forestfarm.com

I agree that FF is a great source for many different kinds of plants. They ship in 'tubes' for most plants, a very small plant in a kind of paper pot. Many of their trees have been less than perfect as far as straight truncks and such, and you do have to watch out for the shipping during certain times of the year, as they only ship air mail for the year round deliveries. Still, for the sheer number of species they carry I think they are great. Karen
