I got to stop going over to LISP and reading seed descriptions. I'll spend more money. I'd like to get some of their summer squash, the carrot mix,....and on and on...

Jim, Don't Look!!! It'll draw you in....I promised myself I wouldn't look at the LISP site this year cuz it's even more hypnotic than this one You're right. You'll need more money AND you'll have to find another garden spot in addition to your backyard and the area at work... Remember, the baby needs shoes and your wife needs a wardrobe after having the baby...then she will need a new car to be certain that she's got a reliable vehicle to drive the baby around in...

hahahahahahah, see your all hooked now!
It's like a drug I tell ya, you start mixing up things and see what happens you get obsessed.
In time I plan to offer a program here very similar to Kens program with LI seed, it's just that Ken has a defintie jump on me with his years of collecting, experience, and knowledge.

One thing we don't do often enough here is post pictures. All this breeding would be interesting to look at, and the testing also. Since I am testing melons, I will post pictures of each melon of interest here, and of the fruit of my monster pepo, plus of the 25 peppers I am growing. I am testing for Dave ( american gardener), and have found many new ones of interest.
Descriptions are nice, but pictures are much better....

I agree with you Mike! I really enjoy looking at pictures of peoples breeding projects and other plants.

I agree to, and the bad thing is that I bought a camera just to do that with, I took pictures here and there all year and have just been to lazy to upload them. I'll try to take some more this week and get them posted to the site shortly. -Alan

As we get to the time of year where we buy seeds we probably dont need I wouldn't mind splitting a bunch of stuff from LISP with someone.

How much do they charge for their seed? They said it was for experimental purposes only. What does that mean?
I took a look and saw a lot of stuff that I would like but I'm not a seedsaver or breeder, is it OK for me to order from them.
