Maybe you could send cash or a MO and have them sent to your mom.

Jim,
If you like, if you send me the list of five kinds, I will order them, split them, and then you can send me the split packs of the five kinds you've already ordered.
I've already sent you some pms.

You must have ESP cuz there I was..Gone..to look at L.I.S.P. List. But mostly of course because I wanted to make certain that Ms. Flowerpower wasn't getting in over her head with all those varieties of Pumpkins. Just looking out for my Friend you know ;D Hey FP, if you didn't look at any of the other lists except for the Squashes you missed this Miss... (Melon) SELECTIONS- Raccoon Cross Late, very sweet orange fleshed, firm then melting cantaloupes, from a cross of large football-shaped heirlooms and the hybrid, Alaska muskmelom. Expect variability. These are the melons that the raccoons always target first. Nice, disease resistant foliage.(10 seeds) I think you should offer to Trial These. I'm sure Ringo would volunteer for the taste testing. Honest! The only other item I looked for was that Romanesco Broccoli. lol They don't have it anyway. I'm sure Ringo would love it if I grew those. But thats not gonna happen since I don't "do" melons. I can't stand the smell of honeydew and canteloupe. And besides, I need more spots for pumpkins. If you still need some of the broccoli, I have enough seeds to share.

I'm only getting 2 or 3, so if someone else wants something I'm not getting, I can request it for them and forward it on.
The Patena Miniature Popcorn looks great to me, but is 30 seeds enough for seed saving? I thought you needed 100 or so plants for good diversity for corn.

I'm growing it now for the first time. It has an otherworldly appearance from the pictures I've seen. I can't wait to take my own pics. Sent your seeds today.

Pugs, according to the Maize Genetic Stocks Center, 20-30 ears of seed is enough for genetic diversity, so 20-30 seeds would be a good starting point. Just make sure you plant in tight blocks and baby them to get some good seed stock.

Alan: I didn't know that but that's encouraging for perhaps the near future when I try corn again.

Got my seed from lisp and they were very generous. The popcorn had 225 seeds in it, not the 30 listed on the website.
