This is the Agricultural Research Station, you can sign up for the newsletter. Some of it is good info, some of it is just scary and depressing to see how your tax dollars are being spent. I just don't think we know the extent of genetic engineering that is being done to everything imaginable! Sadly, most people don't have a clue where food comes from and couldn't care less.

Yes, ARS GRIN is a very good way to keep up with the government and big Bio-tech companies dirty little secrets. The Grin system has also in the past been a good source for rare and important genetics which in my opinion should be liberated before the big seed conglomerates can get a PVP on some of those genes, also the state that most of the seed resources in the GRIN are in is pretty underfunded and not all that well taken care of.
