Look at this site in France. It is trilingual. They have over 400 different squash and other cucurbits. Amazing: www.kcb-samen.ch/shop/

You ole enabler you Who Vas it vhat said "v-e-r-r-r-y interesting, Yah!" Check out the Zip...... one. It looks like it comes complete with a bird's nest inside, lol www.kcb-samen.ch/shop/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=zip&submit=ok&search_in_description=1But shipping to N.America would be outrageous would it not? It would have to be something unavailable over here at all, to make the transaction worth while....Can you tell I'm trying to talk myself out of something... Oh, and the 'utilisations' listed are soooo Euro. "Soups, pies, purees, Gratins". No mention of decoration or carving, as Halloween, until recently, has been an American holiday. Now don't misunderstand me. There is nothing wrong with Halloween. It's the best Holiday of all!!!

As a matter of fact, mailing is not outrageous. Parcel freight is. I promised maple syrup to french friends and the cost of shipping the gallon was $300. Courrier is roughly , for me, the same for France than for shipping stuff to Alan. It is all about wieght. Airplane is the most fuel inefficient way of transportation, and we have to pay. If you read french, go visit the nurseries sites, check this one, on strawberries, even if you can't read click on ''où commander'' it is in blue, and get drunk drinking the images of the varieties of peaches, cherries, apricots etc... It's sickening. www.pommiers.com/fraise/fraisier.htmMichel

Okay, I recognize a few words, like Cogna....must have something to do with Cognac? And Framboise is what Sammy is digging up for you...or is she digging Blackberries as opposed to Black Raspberries? what is Chene Truffier?? Some kind of underground mushroom for dogs?

Chêne truffier is an oak that has been inoculated for truffles, either the Bourgone or the Périgord one, the latter being the black truffle we all know ...or hope to know about. A 1.4 kg one got auctionned at over $100,000 this year...I'll do with the truffle oil, it is more in my range at $35 the 8 ounces bottle. But a little goes a very long way...It is easily overpowering.

I traded with Michel, the KCB guy, a couple of years ago. Good stuff, exellent seeds, that are true to type & germinate perfectly.
If you want me to order KCB seeds & send them to one address in Canada or the US, I'm willing to help.Tell me what to order from KCB. Group your orders before sending them to me: the more packets, the cheaper the shipping costs. As Michel says, it's all a matter of mutual trust

KCB has an impressive offer. He just made money with me last week. The prices are quite high... if you check around you can find more attractive prices, but they usually don't offer so much varieties... or they don't accept orders from outside of USA (if they are in USA).

Niiiice but I must not buy... no more buying seed... no!
It was, however, fun looking at their catalogue.
I like the ibiza moschata though...

I agree, I'm out of room! Spread across several acres and I still can't fit in much of anything else for the year, though I might like to!

This German seed company sells many of the same varieties as kcb-samen for less. They also sell some varieties that kcb-samen does not have. Unfortunately although they sell to almost every country in the world, they do not sell to the US: www.bobby-seeds.com/index.php
