The kids' school was evacuated for a bomb threat today. Fire and police depts barricaded the school, and all parents had to park up on the hill before the school, and walk down to the police line to collect the kids.

Jeez... like I needed more stress in my life!

The upside? I already had good beer at home, so I didn't need to make a grocery store run to obtain a counteracting agent for the adrenaline rush!

Last time I was in Humboldt, visiting family, there were two bomb scares, one at the college and one at the nearby high school. One was just a stupid stunt by a high school kid, the other appears to have been a stupid art installation. Of course, one occurred during finals.
