I looked through a few of them, funny how human history keeps repeating itself, without us ever learning anything. These same 'crisis' that we are supposedly facing now are the same kinds of things that I grew up with worrying about in the 70's. People starving in Africa, gas panic here, unemployment and hard times. There were Mother Earth type people coming up with solutions, building stills to supply their own fuel. Back when there were 'real' Mother Earth types. Trouble is, things get better, people forget how bad it was and go back to a more comfy lifestyle. Too much trouble to cut our own wood or grow our own food. We want bigger cars. Bigger houses. More kids. I am guilty of all those things myself. Until the whole world realizes that those things aren't needed these things are going to keep happening. I really don't think there is a 'food supply' crisis as much as a population crisis. We can't expect to keep adding to the worlds population like we are and maintaining a decent quality of life. Monsanto's of the world use hysteria to convince nations that the only way to keep people alive is with their technology. Bullshit. Actual lack of food available has rearely been the problem of people starving, greed and evilness has. What is going on in Myanmar is just the latest example of what evil men will do to their own people. Same thing has been happening in Africa forever. I remeber when I was a kid seeing those starving children and feeling guilty because I had food. 30-35 years later, those people are still starving. There is something fundamentally wrong if aid hasn't worked in all those decades.
