A general sight of the lower garden : Burgundy, the other land of sweet corn ! ;D And the others in the nursery : The square “bourgeois” : One of my favorite apple : “kandil sinap” : The upper garden and the nursery : Figs and grapes : Bamboos “nigra henonis” : Bamboos “nuda” : And in the green house, the first “noir des Carmes” : The first “vieille France” : Some of the earliest tomatoes : stupice, Edouard, bloody butcher with gold nugget (not on the picture) : Some tries of grafting : And two sweet potatoes “miracularly” (?) saved ! (thank you Michel ! ) That’s all for this time !

Magnifique, Gérard!!! This region (le Morvan) isn't really well known as a tourist place, but it is worth a visit. I did it once, years ago, and it was a good trip, a beautiful place with a very nice forrest (I believe it's a National Park, but Gérard must know for sure), and a nice people, Frank

Thank you Johno and Orflo ! You know the Morvan Frank ! It 's a region we really love even we are not native. They say : " In the Morvan, no good winds, no good people ! " But it's not true. We got many good friends here ! We live near the south part of the "Parc régional du Morvan" www.parcdumorvan.org/Another time I'll give my situation "google earth" if you want !?

Great garden and beautiful countryside. It must be difficult to concentrate on your work, with such beautiful scenery. My daughter loves France. She and her husband spent their honeymoon there last June.

Thank you Giardiniere ! We are not dulled, but an outside glance makes us appreciate this landscape and our chance. In which part of France did they spent their honeymoon ?

In which part of France did they spent their honeymoon ? They spent their entire time in Paris. It was my daughter's second time to France. She was also there when she was about 16, along with a group from her school. At that time they spent time in other parts of France as well.... I just don't remember where. She liked the last trip much better.

This is my first year with Oca and Yacone as well as Ullocos. I got some of the Oca from Alan Kapuler and some of the Oca and Yacone from Millers Garden Nursery, but the Majority of these came from our friend Orflo who was generous enough to give us a hand and share with us some rare and very interesting varieties I otherwise would not have been able to locate in the United States where to my knowledge only the pink oca and white yacone are cultivated. I am hoping that I can mature these two crops, keep them going, and in the future send out clones of this material to other interested gardeners to grow. Keep me up to date on how your grow outs of these wonderful and interesting plants are going please, there is so much to learn about them and so little information out there on them, it is hard to know if one is doing anything right with them. Thank goodness for Orflo and his posts regarding these wonderful plants on our site, something that I really appreciate!
