They are out in full force here. I hadn't had these bastards until about 3 years ago. In the flower garden they especially love clematis and japanese anemone. Watch out for them, they really do blister.

ATTRA recommends pyrethrins or diatomaceous earth. I'd think the former would be more effective, but if I had both on hand I'd use them in conjunction. You'll want to get rid of them ASAP!
