We planted these last year at my daughters, just checked them yesterday and they are starting to ripen the second round. First batch didn't taste good, but none of the strawberries did. I think it was just the weather, we were cool and too much rain at the time. Yesterday's berries were incredible. Full of rich strawbery flavor, just the way they should taste. I really didn't expect them to be that good. I just thought of them as 'at least having some strawberry' after the main season. They are small, but I think very worthwhile if you are a strawberry nut. Now, if the next crop tastes this good, I may till under the Honeoye. I got them from Nourse Farms, and recommend that company highly.
