As expected, the white mass cross watermelons are the sturdiest in the bunch, I pollinated 3 today, but one of them had the covering taken out, and what did I find? A PERFECT FLOWER, with both anthers and stigma. I selfed it, hoping it had not been cross-pollinated anyway, which is possible, it was early and the bees had just started working. There already was some pollen on it, but it might very well be the flowers own,as no way a bumble bee could have done anything without causing pollination, the anthers are touching the stigma. Wind or any movement are sure enough able to pollinate this flower.
I will segregate it anyway...
