Ah! Vito.... he'll never change. Tell him my grandma is playing cards with his mother in paradise.
So I'm safe 'cause if he has other bad ideas like that, tell him his mamma Theresa will come back to make him regret...

Italian Wedding Soup was one of my aunt's specialties. I never liked it, but my brother used to ask for it all the time. I much prefer a nice fried eggplant. lol

Paola: From our 2007 seedlist:NOVIKOVS GIANT Ind 1 lb+ Red Oblate 70-80 days RL poor production, and split fruit in hot weather. Very tasty. Additional note: Plants were healthy, but not of vigorous/robust growth. ie, not very heavy foliage. Limited fruit set may have been due to the hot summer. In case you haven't come across our posting of seed list and album addresses, here they are: seeds harvested in 2006 = tinyurl.com/3y7bknseeds harvested in 2006 = tinyurl.com/3y7bknwww.picasaweb.google.com/tvgruntThe albums have photos of most or all of the varieties we have in our seed lists, and a few other things you might find interesting (or not). There will be a new seed list coming out some time in the near future (when ever I get organized enough to get the database made up). If you go through some of the old postings, you will likely come across our trading rules someplace. There basically aren't any. Ask for what you want form the lists and you will get them, regardless of whether or not you have anything to trade that we want (and you do). I will ask that you hold off on seed requests until we get the 2008 list up, because we are still a little busy trying to put the garden to bed for the winter, and the current years seeds are still being processed. When you do go over the lists, pick from the 2006 seed list first, as what is listed there will not be available next year. I am the Dan that Dave (American Gardener) was referring to. Sorry I didn't greet you earlier, but Val (Grungy) did it for both of us, and I have been a bit busy outside. Cheers Dan (Grunt) & Val (Grungy)

Thank you for the info Dan or Grunt, and, yes, Grungy did welcome me and I did understand that you two are somewhat together and thank you also for the explanation on the hard set rules of exchanging.........they are really hard......lol I did find quite a few varieties that I would like from your 2006 list, but, like you said, I'll wait to request them until you post the 2008 list, I understand being busy in the garden! On a different subject, you posted photos using Picasa album, I haven't figured out how to do that yet, I would like to post some photos of my beans, any words of wisdom here? If you have the time, of course. Thank you Paola

Paola: First, get yourself a Google account (free) www.google.com/accounts/NewAccount, then download and run Picasa. The program will locate all of your photos. Select the photos you want and hit the hold button for each one (you will see what I am talking about when you open Picasa). Then you hit the web album Icon, and they get uploaded to which ever album (or new album) you tell it to put them in. They actually have this program set up so even I can do it. You shouldn't have any problems figuring it out, it's a pretty intuitive program. The easiest way to access everything from one location is to use the Gmail main page (it comes free with the Google account), there are links to everything on that page. You can also upload directly to the album from within Picasaweb, if you know where the files are on your computer. I am seldom organized enough to manage that. Give it a try, I think you'll like it Cheers Dan
