Happy birthday, Biorag. Thanks, friends, for your birthday wishes. Had a great day. Over 80 degrees outside, visited a Friend-girl that gardens, listened to the 1st three Allman Brothers Band albums whilst working with my flowers and gardens and had a hummingbird in the yard. Finished the day with homemade wine and a very late supper. Now for some guitar playing... ;D john

"Wake up Mama, turn your lamp down low..." Was going to sit out after dark on the pickle pail with my old acoustic guitar, thumbpick and bottleneck and play with the singing insects; some thunder and light rain postponed that thought. john

And a very late happy birthday to both of you... Ever saw a live show from the Allman Brothers? It's one of my drreams....I saw Gov't Mule last year, the day after R.L. Burnside died, one of the last blues survivors, the show was dedicated to him....But the Allmans....they never come to Europe

Again, thanks, and it's not late.
Haven't seen the Allman Brothers. Tried to get tickets ~1974 but no dice. I see in August, ABB played two hours away at DTE Energy. Glad to hear Gregg's up to it.
Got to hear Robert Jr. Lockwood six years ago at a church hall 35 miles away. He was in his mid-8O's and played/sang very well. I even got to shake his hand! Robert Johnson lived with his Mom.
A few weeks ago, Honeyboy Edwards played at the Wheatland Music Festival two hours away. It was a three day event/campout so I didn't attend. Honeyboy is 93 now and was playing with Robert THAT night.
