BUT, I got 8 tickets to ACDC. Ticketmaster sold out in 15 minutes, and you can only buy 4 at a time. I was trying for 12 tickets, but they sold out before I could. That's enough for husband, kids and boyfriends. Alan, I would have shared the extra tickets with you, but I remember you said you didn't care for Brian anyway. They put on an incredible show. Couldn't hear for 2 weeks after the Stiff Upper Lip show. I am downright giddy.

If you got it, flaunt it. Congrats.

Good for you! It's always cool to see a band you really like live.
That being said, I can't wait for AC/DC's tour to be over. Sirius changed my favorite station (029, Punk) to all AC/DC all the time, which was REALLY annoying. I want my Ramones and NoFX. And Misfits. And Dead Kennedys. I had a very rude awakening when I got into the truck the other day.
Of course, before I realized what had happened, the first thought I had was "Who did this cover? And why does it sound so much like AC/DC's own version of Back In Black? That's goofy."

So the scalpers didn't get them all. I'm not an AC/DC fan by nay means so i would not have put out almost $100 per ticket for that show, or any rock show for that matter. But I am cheap, have a mortgage and farm for a living so could not justify such an expense.
Is this for the show in Columbus, OH?

This is for the Indianapolis show, Ohio. Generally, I am pretty cheap too. Won't pay more than $20 for a pair of tennis shoes, I don't wear makeup or jewelry, get a haircut about once every 5 years, and have a mortgage. Ah, but for a chance to see ACDC with my whole family? I would sell a kidney. My left one is prone to stones anyway! I think I was pretty lucky to get the 'cheap' seats from Ticketmaster. The other friends I couldn't get tickets for ended up getting better seats, but for $400 each. The way I see it is this, life is short, and it has been a really crappy year for us. Just since April, 3 friends have died. All in their 20's or 30's. A deer through the windsheild, a suicide, and a helicopter crash. This will be a way to blow off a little steam. Something to look forward too for a while. Of course, I know the concert will be cancelled for one reason or another............

You'll defitely enjoy it, Karen. I saw them at Madison Square Garden about 13 yrs ago. It was a great show! We got tickets on the day of the concert right on the side of the stage. My BIL did get a guitar pick.

I am so glad that they are on tour. When we went to the Stiff Upper Lip show, my husband thought the girls were too young to go and said no. They were pretty pissed. So, to be able to see the greatest band of all time as a family is wonderful. Many years ago they bought me the 'Highway to Hell' cd for mother's day. Can kids get any better than that???

Guess I could have worded that a little differently, huh? One man in my life is way more than enough.
