On the way back from Indiana yesterday I ran smack dab into the world famous Alan Bishop, One heck of a nice guy - gave me the guided tour of the farm and worm house.
Alan I appreciate you meeting me and helping me find the farm (this guy lives in the country) what we would call the back side of no place - perfect place for a farm. ;D
Most road trips are boring events where I get to see a lot of interstate roadway so it was really nice to get off the beaten path and see a friendly face.
Thanks for the hospitality Alan and if your ever down this way please stop in and say hello.

Well, this may sound nosey, but what in the world were you doing in these parts? Too bad we didn't know you were in the area, we could have had a cookout. Pork loin, creek bank potatoes, and my bil's bean dish cooked in his grandma's cast iron pot over the fire. I even made a persimmon pudding yesterday. But honestly, around here we wouldn't consider Alan's place really even in the country. It is a great place for a farm though, isn't it? Well, minus his neighbors.

I was up in Indianapolis looking at some new equipment for one of our business units, it was a long ride and I wish I had thought about you being that close cause I sure would have imposed on you too. ;D Indiana is a nice place to visit, lots of farm land and loads of nice people. Wish I could have spent a little more time visiting. Well, this may sound nosey, but what in the world were you doing in these parts? Blue, the poor Alan, at this time of the year, is probably so friggin busy he can not even locate his a...hole You want to add more work on top of that? You're in a moving mode and it sure shows my friend. Give him a break And I just noticed your location under your avatar. I live in Ontario and you live in Ontariariario. What is it that you have and I don't

Sharing with Friends. Something you do very well CFF and it's muchly appreciated.
Michel, it has something to do with a theme song for an advertisement back in the 1960's. Of course, I don't remember it at all. My parents told me about it. Or is the reason that I don't recall the song itself, only the part about being in Ontariariario because my age and IQ are showing?

It was great to meet you finally in person CFF, wish we would have had more time to tour the rest of the farm and check out the Ginseng and everything. Stop by next time your out this way and I'll give you some directions to get out to Karens place, I think you two would really hit it off as friends.

It's funny. From my viewpoint up north, you are all neighbours Ghee I'd love to travel down to Indiana. I might very well, one day just hop in the car and go.

Well Mike" There is a trick to cheap sometimes "free" travel. Tie it up with work and make the boss pay for your fun
