I bought some HOT bell peppers from the semi-local farmers market. They are somewhere between a bell and a mini bell in size, and are called: Mexi-Bells. They run about half the heat of a jalapeno, IMHO, but are kinda cool just because ittsa hot/sweet bell type.

I have chilhaucle negro that is a hot that looks like a bell pepper. It is one of the traditional peppers of the Oaxaca mole sauces. It is like a tiny bell pepper, but, has a smoky and medium heat flavor a little shy of a supermarket jalapeno

I'm really excited to grow out those mexi-bells and see what they are like.
Speaking of Oaxaca, it never seems to amaze me at the amount of diversity in foodplants in that region of the world, some of the greatst ancient breeding experiments come from that area of the world and I will be growing several of those out this year and can't wait.
