My lilac smells so wonderful, and my early irises should start opening by the end of the week. While the daffodils, forsythia, quince, redbud and early tulips are done, the late tulips, lunaria, grape hyacinth and ajuga are fabulous. There are buds (and ants!) on the early peonies, so I know they'll open soon. And the columbine is sending up it's flower stalks. Ah! My peas may have stalled with the last weird weather, but the flowers are not disappointing.

yay is right lg! our pear trees' blossoms are just barely starting to open, and our daffies are beautiful as is the gopher purge. irises are poking up. our lilacs are still just budding out. the blackberries are greening up, as the mulberry bush. things are still very slow here outside...however...in the greenhouse, the alyssum is blossoming! such a sweet fragrance and it's good for the nerves! )
