I thought it would be a great project to do seed balls for my garden class (little people). I wondered if I could gain any info from anyone with experience? I am under the impression this is Native American ? I am going to better organize my blog so that all my children's garden projects can be pulled up quickly. I have a class of 24 and we have done some fun stuff. (for those of you with kidlets)
Thank you!! Rena

I first heard of seed balls when I read Fukuoka. Don't know if it's the same thing you're talking about, but he mixed seed with clay and ran it through a large-hole screen (hardware cloth) to get smallish seed balls. This allows the seeds to wait until the right time to sprout, and have some other protections, especially against birds eating them.
