That is a nifty party trick.

I don't grow it, but I did taste it once. It's indeed very sweet, makes all kinds of things sweet, but everything begins to taste sweet, and the sweetness stays for a couple of hours. So, if you eat lettuce, it will be sweet, and if you eat corn, it will be sweet, and if you eat rice, it will be the same sweetness again. That's why I didn't like it that much: it is so overwhelming thus everything loses its specific taste, except when things have a very pronounced flavour (like the lemon in the video). This thing is promoted quite heavily lately, some commercial firm (s?) must have decided it could bring a big profit. And, as OG mentioned, it is a party hit, some parties are even organised just for tasting it, with all kinds of bitter, acid, strong food included. Seems you have to search some seeds there, Michel ;D ;D
