The new apple Sweetango looks and sounds great. It is good that a new variety is developed now and then, but we still have a great magnitude fewer varieties than there used to be, so there's room for a few more. It seems like the best and worst job of all time, breeding a new apple. As it said in the video, you can spend a quarter of a century and try thousands of varieties before you find a true gem.
