Hi all!
I'm looking for a few mild-sweet, non-gasey, pepper varieties to try next season. I've gotten a few recommendations including Napolian, Jimmy Nardello, Beaver Dam and Alma Paprika. Does anyone have any other recommendations, especially anything that would work well in containers?
I have nothing to trade as this is the first year that I've gotten into seed-saving, but if anyone has excess that they are looking to unload I will gladly take some to experiment with. ;D

I looked through the seeds I bought last year and never got around to planting. I could spare a a few seeds from each packet if you are interested in the following: Jimmy Nardello, Pimento L, Jersey Devil, Golden Calwonder and Chocolate Beauty. I got them from Tomato Growers supply, you can check out the descriptions on their website. Karen

Thanks Karen!
I tried Chocolate Beauty last year, so I wanted to try something other than a bell for this year. The pimento peppers sound intriguing, I thought I'd try several of those since I'm more a fan of the milder flavored peppers. The only description I found for the Jersey Devil was for a tomato by that name. Is that what you meant?

How about Trinidad Perfume pepper? It looks just like a regular orange habanero, but it's heatless. They have a lot of flavor for a sweet. Mine got to be maybe 4' tall and 3' wide. Maybe it was only 3't and 2'w... somewhere in that range. Pushing container size a little, but doable. I have seed if you want.

Ooh, that sounds lovely. I'll take some of those to try for sure. I do have space in the ground, if it would be too big for a comtainer. They would do best in full sun, yes? I wrote a bit more in reply to your other post on the intro thread. I'll PM you my address if you'd like to send some seeds my way.

Oh, dear, yes you are right. The Jersey Devil is a tomato. I had about 80 packets from them, and I screwed up. But, if there are any that you would like, just send me a pm for your address. Karen
