I just checked their site-there is no site!!!! Just a notice posted Dec 25 that states 'Seed bank operation closed due to technical difficulties' What the hell happened? ? Does anyone have any info? I am going into withdrawl here, folks.

I hadn't heard anything about that yet! That sucks! Does anyone have any info out there?
My guess is that either the USDA or their state department of agriculture probably got to them for operating as a seed bank as opposed to a seed company!

Yep, that is what I was thinking, though I do try not to jump to conclusions. David is a very private person, and he really doesn't give out much personal info at all. Though he has posted his tax returns!!! He says that as a researcher it is his duty to fully report where his money comes from, and says that anyone getting any grant money should do the same. He doesn't take any grant money from anyone. I hope to find some info, but knowing him, we may never know what happened if it was a private matter. I am sure he will have plenty to say about it if it is a government issue though. Something to keep on top of, Alan. It could have an effect on what you are doing if it was USDA type stuff. Karen

Well, don't know what the problem was, but they are back now with 2009 seeds available.
