;D Hi! I'm Wrennie. I live in a forest preserve in the Catskill Mountains of NY. We get all sorts of wildlife through the yard, which we love to see. I do flower, veggie and herb gardening. I prefer organics and heirlooms. I own a wild bird specialty shop and love to feed & watch the birds. I'm glad to see a bird topic on here! **Added** oh, I forgot... I belong to alot of forums, so if you know me from another place(s) let me know where! Lol! My friend Triss asked me how I keep all the people from all the forums straight.... got news... I dont!!

Welcome. Tell us more about your shop, do you have a website? I have/had a little shop, may 'go big' in the future. Do you ever order from Gold Crest Distributing? My husband and I went to their open house this year and it was great. I hope you enjoy our forum, there are some really great people here.

Hi Penny! Hi Karen. I use GoldCrest all the time! I have a small store, a website that I need to do some MaJoR work on. I don't sell online just cause its so freaking competetive. I found 1 ebay store that was selling droll yankees with free shipping for less than I was getting them wholesale. Cant compete with that!! Crazy!! I do sell online to forum people. I have a bunch of merchandise in my Photobucket and people look there. I also sell my crafts that way and on Etsy (nothing listed there right now either) I would love to go to GC's open house one day!

You really should try to go, Mel PAYS for the hotel room!!!! And they have breakfast in the warehouse, and a dinner at the local country club. I was worried about that one, as I am not a fancy kind of country club person myself, or is my husband, our necks are pretty red, but it was a small town, friendly kind of country club. Met the nicest people from Ohio, had a great time. I know what you mean about the prices. Walmart can sell stuff for less than what I pay wholesale, and with the economy the way it is right now, forget it. But, hey, spring it just around the corner!

How nice. Wrennie and Penny. Isn't FP from the Catskills? Maybe you've found another gardening neighbor here, unless you know her from other forums. Welcome to HG.
