Agressively Harvesting Castings/Making Soil Blocks

So as the title says, I may be away from my blog and this site for a day or two as I am aggressively harvesting worm castings and sifting through thermophilically created compost in anticipation of starting plants in the greenhouse at the end of February while at the same time making soil blocks and soil mix and also seriously rethinking some things that need to be changed in the worm house....and in a hurry at that.

Today I harvested 14 five gallon buckets of castings and sifted compost.

I'll try to get some pics up on the blog in the next couple of days at homegrowngoodness.blogspot.com Saturday I composted 600 loaves of old bread that a friend of mine who runs a local store was kind enough to give to me! Lot's of new soil building going on! Getting ready to start mixing soil and making soil blocks to start seeds this coming week!
