full title is "The Field and Garden Vegetables of America by Fearing Burr", but it wouldn't all fit in the title line.

I couldn't think which individual thread to put this in so I started this one. This is not quite what you would expect from the title, but goes into most of the "exotics" that are discussed, and then some. The one that caught my eye especially was the reference to Couves Thronchuda, which would be almost another marrow kale, or perhaps good for cross breeding.
Written in 1863, so you will see a lot of varieties that are no longer.
