These beans are marginal for eating because they require a great deal of preparation and even then can raise some health issues, but they are allegedly great for fixing nitrogen, killing nematodes, and suppressing weeds.
Has anyone grown them? If so, what are your thoughts about them?

I never grew them, but as a coincidence I'm received two varieties a week ago, so I'll have a go at them. They probably require more heat than I will give them, but that's something to find out. I thought they are completely inedible, so I was wrong there...

I did try about 10-years ago, but I had no way near enough heat..... Here's a picture of the two varieties a trader sent me with the smaller Anasazi Beans:
