I know I read it somewhere here. Ceara in Quebec? I have two elderberry trees/bushes, that we hacked down quite severely last summer, but the darn things grow like weeds, and the flowers and berries are prolific. I have made elderberry juice a couple times, but nobody in my house really likes it, so it is kind of a waste of time. They are pretty though. The bees like them, and my youngest likes to eat the berries, although they do stain clothing. I can try to make some cuttings this summer. They root quite easily I believe. I also have a small "Black Lace" elderberry, that a friend gave me last year. It is still growing in a pot, I never did get around to planting it out. It may be big enough this summer to try a cutting or two as well.

I replied in the other thread. I would like to try and find some wild ones first before I get any shipped in.
Wow that "Black Lace" variety looks so beautiful! I would definitely like to have a cutting of that any time if it is large enough.
